Prairie View Family Care is locally owned and operated by Karen Migliaccio. Dr. Karen graduated with a bachelor in Nursing from Beth-El College of Nursing in Colorado Springs in 1990. She obtained her Masters of Science as a family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs in 2001 and her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2013 from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Center. Prior to entering the nursing field, Dr. Karen worked in a growth hormone research lab at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs as well as in a burn center as a burn technician. Her nursing career includes twelve years in local Pediatric Intensive Care and 10 years as a nationally certified infusion specialist. She has been in primary family care in Colorado Springs area since 2001. To meet the needs of the transportation industry, she has also obtained her certification as a Medical Examiner for the Department of Transportation National Registry.

The Staff at Prairie View Family Care are all medical assistants that Dr. Karen has worked with previously. Everyone is trained to perform all the duties within the practice to meet our patient's needs. Our mission is to remain a family practice with a small town focus where patient needs are a priority.
